La Manta est la planche de Wingfoil dessinée pour les foils à Haut Ratio. Cette version dérivée de notre Best-Seller, la Ray, offre un allongement plus élevé pour plus de glisse avant le décollage. Cet allongement lui donne d’excellentes aptitudes pour le downwind où elle va tirer son avantage. Sa faible largeur lui permet de prendre de l’angle et de pouvoir carver de manière radicale, mais on lui préfèrera la Ray si on veut privilégier la stabilité à l’arrêt sur plan d’eau agité.

 

La Manta possède une carène travaillée, avec un double concave sur le tiers avant, offrant ainsi un départ excellent et un décollage plus rapide. La carène ne colle pas à l’eau, le Pin tail à l’arrière vient faciliter le départ en vol en offrant une bonne prise de vitesse. Les bevels sont travaillés pour plus d’aisance dans les virages et permet de prendre de l’angle pour carver sur la houle ou dans les vagues. Le Pont concave permet de rabaisser le centre de gravité et le volume est uniformément réparti avec du volume à l’avant pour une bonne stabilité longitudinale. Cela vous permet de positionner les genoux contre le rail en surépaisseur pour une meilleure stabilité. Ainsi, la Manta vous offre une bonne stabilité sur la phase de départ à genoux, en plus de faciliter le départ planning.

The Manta is a Wingfoil board specially designed for High Aspect ratio foil. This Manta is is inspired by the Ray, our Best-seller, she offer a bigger elongation to improve the glide before taking off the water. This elongation give to the board some good habilities for downwind ride, where she will take the advantage. His Narrow profil give the opportunity to take some good angle to have radically carves, but we will prefer the Ray for a better stability in choppy water.

 

The Manta is made of worked hull, with a double concave on the forepart, giving you an excellent start and a quicker take off. The hull does not stick to the water, the Pin tail offer a good hability to take speed and an early take off. Bevels are designed for more ease in turns and allow you to carve radically in swell and waves. The concave deck allow you to lower your center of gravity and the volume is uniform with the forward volume for a good longitudinal stability. It gives you the possibility to place your knees agains the rails, placed on a reinforced thickness, for a better stability. The Manta is offering you an excellent balance on the waterstart phase and makes the take off easier.

Renfort PVC sous la platine avec liaison rigide (mousse 180kg/m3) entre le pont et la carène. / Carbon fiber, EPS Core 20kg/m3, PVC sandwich reinforcement on all deck and rails.
