La Tuna est la planche de Downwind et Wingfoil light wind de la gamme dessinée pour offrir le maximum de glisse pour décoller sur un bump à la rame ou partir le plus tôt possible avec une Wing.
Disponible dans 2 versions, Tuna et Tuna L tous les riders y trouveront leurs comptes ! La Tuna étant la version la plus longue et plus étroite, soit le ratio le plus élevé c’est celle qui offrira le plus de glisse au détriment d’une stabilité latérale plus précaire. Celle-ci reste toutefois très bonne grâce aux bevels plus verticaux. Ceux-ci sont également travaillés sur le tiers arrière pour optimiser le rapport stabilité/rapidité au décollage. Le volume est répartie uniformément afin d’assurer une bonne stabilité longitudinale grâce au sur-volume à l’avant. Le pont est plat sur la Tuna, afin d’offrir un maximum de performance et la possibilité de positionner ses pieds le proche du rail au vu de sa faible largeur.
La Tuna est équipée de boitiers US rallongés de 16 » (40cm) qui permettent une grande possibilité de réglages et d’avoir le foil bien centré par rapport à la longueur de la planche. Par conséquent, l’inertie induite par la longueur est nettement diminuée et on a l’impression d’avoir une planche plus courte. Tout les éléments de shape de la Tuna ont été étudiés pour offrir la meilleure glisse possible, mais également le meilleur rebond en cas de touchette sur ces planches étroites. La carène a ainsi été dessinée en V pour éviter l’effet rail qui est induit par l’outline très allongée de la planche.

The Tuna is the Downwind and Light Wind Wingfoil board in the range, designed to offer maximum glide for taking off on a bump with a paddle or getting up as early as possible with a Wing.
Available in 2 versions, Tuna and Tuna L, all riders will find what they’re looking for! The Tuna is the longest and narrowest version, having the highest ratio, which offers the most glide at the expense of slightly precarious lateral stability. However, this remains very good due to the more vertical bevels. These bevels are also designed on the rear third to optimize the stability/speed ratio during takeoff. The volume is evenly distributed to ensure good longitudinal stability, thanks to the additional volume at the front. The deck is flat on the Tuna, offering maximum performance and the ability to position your feet close to the rail due to its narrow width.
The Tuna is equipped with extended 16 » (40cm) US boxes, allowing a wide range of adjustments and ensuring the foil is well-centered relative to the length of the board. Consequently, the inertia induced by the length is significantly reduced, giving the impression of a shorter board. All elements of the Tuna’s shape have been carefully designed to offer the best possible glide and the best rebound in case of contact with these narrow boards. The hull has been designed with a V-shape to avoid the rail effect caused by the board’s elongated outline. »
